About
Soul/Pop Singer-Songwriter
Greg Scott is a dynamic singer-songwriter and performer whose blend of Soul, Pop, and R&B has earned him national recognition and a growing fanbase. Born and raised in Chico, California, Greg grew up surrounded by music, inspired by his father’s band and immersed in the sound of live performance from an early age. That early foundation led him to release his first self-produced album straight out of high school, setting the stage for a career built on persistence, talent, and authenticity.
In 2020, Greg broke through to mainstream audiences on NBC’s hit songwriting series Songland. His heartfelt original “Miracle” caught the attention of Bebe Rexha and Ryan Tedder, winning the episode and ultimately becoming the official theme for NBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage. The success proved Greg’s ability to write music that connects with millions, blending raw emotion with polished commercial appeal.
Since then, Greg has continued to expand his reach as a recording artist, live performer, and songwriter for film and television. His latest releases, including the Cali-Way EP, showcase his smooth vocals, West Coast grit, and knack for powerful hooks. Based in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, Greg balances family life with his growing music career, performing live, collaborating with top producers, and writing songs that inspire and uplift audiences worldwide.
