Arcade Bops

The Arcade Bops Video Game Band is a 6-piece ensemble bringing retro and modern video game music to life. Founded by Carlos Mata in 2020 as a virtual orchestra, the project has since amassed over 1 million views across YouTube and Instagram.

In 2022, Carlos launched the live band in Las Vegas, creating an interactive show featuring vocals, sax and violin. From the nostalgia of Super Mario Bros. and Zelda to the cinematic depth of Halo and Red Dead Redemption, they tastefully perform dynamic custom arrangements synced with game visuals and original artwork.
