Lannie Counts Band

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Lannie Counts built his early career performing with successful regional groups, including work connected to Island recording artist Joey Navarro, and opening for major artists such as Najee, Keith Sweat, and Kenny G. After moving to Las Vegas in 1990, he became a respected presence on the city’s live music scene, performing with Tony Tillman, The New Imperials, and the cast of Country Fever at the Golden Nugget. He has fronted his own band at the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio and at The Venetian, and has worked with respected Vegas institutions including Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns, the Lon Bronson All-Star Band, and The Las Vegas Tenors. The Lannie Counts Band brings that experience into a soulful live band format, delivering R&B, Soul, Motown, Gospel, Jazz, and timeless Pop with warmth, groove, and professional Las Vegas showmanship.
