Makena Hartlin

Nashville’s competitive music scene didn’t deter Makena, who quickly stood out in her first year. Her unique writing and voice caught the attention of Pitch Meeting founders, and she joined their award-winning house band in early 2021. They won “Best Writers’ Night” and performed at the Ryman Auditorium. Makena has since backed top acts like Lainey Wilson and Gavin DeGraw. Known as the “Songbird of Nashville,” she joined Song Suffragettes and played at Whiskey Jam, with crowd-favorite songs like “The Apple” and “She Decides.”
