New World Jazz Project

New World Jazz Project delivers groove-driven originals and soulful takes on classics, blending soul, Latin, and world jazz with straight-ahead energy. Led by saxophonist, flutist, and composer Niall McGuinness, NWJP features some of Northern Nevada’s top musicians, each bringing deep roots in jazz, Latin, funk, and world traditions. Their music has been featured on major TV shows including Gotham, Shameless, Pretty Little Liars, and Daredevil, as well as in national ad campaigns and films. From Afro-jazz to bebop and beyond, NWJP keeps the spirit of jazz alive—fresh, soulful, and real.
