The Ricardo Griego Flamenco Band brings the fire, elegance, and rhythmic energy of Spanish Guitar Fusion to concerts, festivals, corporate events, cultural celebrations, resorts, weddings, and private events. Led by Santa Fe-born guitarist, composer, and educator Ricardo Griego, the group blends Flamenco, Classical, Latin, and Rock influences into a performance that feels sophisticated, passionate, and alive.
Ricardo performs on classical guitar, electric guitar, and the Puerto Rican cuatro, creating a distinctive sound that moves from elegant Spanish melodies to driving Latin rhythms and contemporary interpretations. The act can be booked as a full Flamenco-inspired band for a dynamic stage show, with the added visual excitement of a Flamenco dancer, or as an intimate solo guitar performance for receptions, dinners, ceremonies, and upscale gatherings.
Ricardo’s career includes performances with acclaimed Classical masters including Manuel Barrueco, David Russell, Elliot Fisk, David Starobin, David Tanenbaum, the Cologne Philharmonic, and the L.A. Guitar Quartet. His original composition “Spanish Cypress” won Best Latin Production at Albuquerque’s Mic Awards, and his Spanish Guitar Fusion style has been heard opening for Los Lobos, Malo, Esteban, Linda Ronstadt, and Tower of Power.
