Shamain Greaves Violin
Shamain was destined for a musical path. The daughter of the lead singer of Frontline, a popular band in Guyana, she drew early influences from reggae, R&B, soul, and golden oldies. At age 3, she moved to the U.S. and attended Thomas G. Pullen, an arts magnet school, where she studied violin under Leslie Thomas. She later attended Suitland High, where her passion for singing emerged. After joining GM Records, she released her first project, “My Diary,” in 2012, garnering over 4,000 downloads. In 2014, she was nominated Best R&B Artist by DMVLife.com.
