Sol y Rumba Mariachi Band

Sol y Rumba brings live Latin music, mariachi, bolero, and dance-driven party repertoire to events with flexible ensemble sizes and a deep regional history. Founded in 1993 by Honduran singer-songwriter Maria Isolina, the group performs salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, cha cha cha, bolero, mariachi classics, and select American pop favorites.

The act can scale from strolling mariachi and intimate solo, duo, or trio options to a larger Latin band format with vocals, percussion, and danceable rhythms. Performance credits include appearances connected to George Lopez, the grand opening of Christina Saralegui’s furniture line, and former President Barack Obama’s inaugural ball.
