Timothy Smith

Timothy Smith is a New York-based singer and pianist whose musical foundation is rooted in gospel while drawing from R&B, soul, and contemporary styles. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he developed his musicianship through years of church performance before expanding into professional live performance and recording.

Equally comfortable leading from the piano or fronting a performance as a vocalist, Timothy brings expressive vocals, dynamic keyboard skills, and a repertoire shaped by both traditional gospel influences and contemporary popular music. His background allows him to deliver engaging solo performances while also collaborating seamlessly with other musicians.

Performance credits include appearances with Berklee’s Reverence Gospel Choir and opportunities to share the stage with notable gospel artists including Richard Smallwood, J.J. Hairston, Doobie Powell, James Hall, Micah Stampley, and Michelle Brooks-Thompson.
